Our Mandate

Constitution

"Periods for All embodies a constitution of inclusivity and equity, ensuring that individuals with diverse abilities have unbarriered access to essential health information. This constitution emphasizes the right to accessible education and resources, recognizing that menstrual health is a fundamental aspect of overall well-being. Periods for All recognizes that menstrual health barriers fall disproportionately on women and girls, as well as gender-diverse folks, and that this burden compounds for those who also live with disability — a compounding faced most acutely by women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals, and whose economic and leadership participation is most directly constrained by it.

Mission Statement

PFA advocates for and provides information regarding education, accessibility, inclusivity and equity to eliminate barriers to essential menstrual health information — with particular attention to the compounding barriers facing women and girls with disabilities, whose equal participation in education, work and public life depends on that access.

Pillars of Our Work

  • Women's Equality: Periods for All recognizes that menstrual health barriers disproportionately constrain the education, social, employment, and leadership participation of women and girls and works to remove them accordingly.

  • Inclusivity and Equality: Periods for All promotes a constitution focused on inclusivity and equality always.

  • Access to inclusive Health Information: Ensures essential health information is accessible to everyone, regardless of ability.

  • Right to Education: Our initiatives emphasize the right to accessible education and resources, highlighting menstrual health as vital to overall well-being.

  • Comprehensive Information: Champions the idea that all individuals, regardless of ability, deserve to manage their menstrual health with dignity.

  • Empowerment and Inclusivity: This approach empowers menstruators and fosters a more inclusive society, enabling everyone to thrive and make informed health decisions.
